Towing cable 4x4 sport - Composite rope - breaking strength 11,000 kg

Towing cable for 4x4 sports. 3 strands of kinetic tow rope. Composite rope is one of the most durable ropes available, rot and UV resistant, wet and dry the same breaking strength and stretch.

This is a composite rope composed of high tenacity polyester yarns and high tenacity polypropylene. This combination gives it excellent abrasion resistance properties compared to any other type of rope. This strong construction offers flexibility, excellent abrasion and heat resistance. Because this rope stretches less than nylon line, the snapback (recoil) is lower.

Thickness 24 mm. Breaking strength: 11,000 kg. Elongation according to the new OICMF calculation adjusted to 7% at 50% of the breaking strength. The old calculation assumed 27%, but that applied to a cable that had been used 100 times. More stretch is also not safe, you don't want an elastic band between two vehicles, think of what would happen to a shackle if something were to break somewhere in the construction.

The towing cable is perfectly suitable for 4x4 sports. The rope absorbs the peak load of the jerk so that no damage is caused to the 4x4. We supply this rope in a number of lengths. Required shackles can be found elsewhere in the store.
